Repairs/Tune Ups

PLEASE NOTE: When coming out to trouble-shoot and or make a repair to an engine that won’t start I almost always encourage the customer to get a full service tune-up. In most cases the repair needed is due to lack of regular maintenance or from an extended period of having not been run. Having the tune-up is the best use of your money. Many times the repair may be corrected during the course of the tune-up and not cost anything additional. Why put a band-aid on something when I can go through the entire system for very little additional money?

Prices vary according to geographic location.

Service related visits start at $85.00. This covers 45 minutes of on-site labor and trouble-shooting. Parts are additional.
Full service tune-up on walk-behind (push) mowers and most other equipment start at $85.00. This price includes all tune-up related parts.
Full service tune-up on riding mowers, both front and rear engine models, start at $185.00. This price includes all tune-up related parts with the exception of an oil filter ($10.00 additional) if your model requires one.

My Guarantee: I stand behind all work that I perform on a full service tune-up up to 30 days. Example; if I do a complete tune-up and a couple weeks later the engine is running poorly, won’t start etc. I will come out free of charge and as quickly as possible to resolve the problem. If the customer is at fault, i.e. used bad fuel, over-filled the oil, hit something or if there is a new problem unrelated to my initial visit then it is treated as a new service call.

If I come out and only make a repair or perform service per the customers direction, i.e., change a part, sharpen the blades or change the oil then I do only what is requested and I do not go over anything else on the mower as I would do during a full service tune up. I would guarantee only what I serviced. If later the engine develops a problem it would be a new service call.
